My Hobbies

I’ve already mentioned that my hobbies are dancing , singing , and crocheting , but I actually have a few more… though I don’t really do them anymore. Let’s start with dancing . When I was in elementary school, my mom encouraged me to join the Modern Dance (MD) club . So I did—and from there, I fell in love with dancing ! 💃✨ But now, I don’t really do MD anymore. Instead, I focus more on K-pop dances . For me, MD became a bit too easy, so I decided to try learning K-pop choreographies. They turned out to be A LOT HARDER , and that challenge made me love them even more! I’ve thought about going back to MD, but I don’t think it’ll happen anytime soon. Next, we have singing . Hi there! I’m Alden, the author of this humble blog. Alden’s Journal is my personal blog, where I’ll share my daily life, K-pop, crochet, school experiences, and more. I’ll be writing my posts in English—even though most of my readers will probably be my Indonesian friends. But I don’t mind! My K-pop Journey

In my last post, I talked about how much I love K- pop , but I didn’t really dive deep into it. So today, I want to tell you all about it! The first time I ever heard about K-pop was when BTS released their song Dynamite . It was everywhere —everyone was talking about it! 🎶✨ I put the song on repeat so many times that my parents got bored of it. But after a while, I kind of forgot about it… A few years later… A new girl group debuted— NewJeans ! I became obsessed with their music. Their songs were so catchy; I just couldn’t stop listening! I loved them so much that I even started collecting their photocards . I even tried convincing my friend to become a fan too! But, of course, after listening to their songs every single day, I eventually started looking for something new.
