My K-pop Journey

In my last post, I talked about how much I love K-pop, but I didn’t really dive deep into it.

So today, I want to tell you all about it!

The first time I ever heard about K-pop was when BTS released their song Dynamite.

It was everywhere—everyone was talking about it! 🎶✨
I put the song on repeat so many times that my parents got bored of it.
But after a while, I kind of forgot about it…

A few years later…
A new girl group debuted—NewJeans!

I became obsessed with their music. Their songs were so catchy; I just couldn’t stop listening!
I loved them so much that I even started collecting their photocards.
I even tried convincing my friend to become a fan too!

But, of course, after listening to their songs every single day, I eventually started looking for something new.
At first, I couldn’t find anything that had the same fresh and unique vibe as NewJeans.

And that’s when I discovered BoyNextDoor.

Their concept felt really different from other boy groups.
Their music was chill and easy to listen to, unlike some groups that have a louder, more intense style.
And just like that, I now had two favorite groups—NewJeans and BoyNextDoor!

Like many K-pop fans, I started saving up money to buy albums, lightsticks, and decorations…
But also, like many K-pop fans, I ended up spending the money on other things instead. 😂

I’ve already mentioned that my hobbies are dancing , singing , and crocheting , but I actually have a few more… though I don’t really do them anymore. Let’s start with dancing .
