It's been a while...

Hey there! it has been a minute huh... I have been busy with school lately. So i just finished middle school and i will go to high school soon. I actually graduated with pretty good grades. But i'm not sure if it can get me into my dream school... Hopefully it does. Anyways, i have also been doing something else. I actually started a small Roblox Development Team! We're currently making something, so stay tuned for that ;) And i also have been auditioning to K-Pop companies... But so far none accepted me. But that's fine, i will keep on working hard to be a K-Pop idol. Anyways, that's all i wanted to say. I will try to post more frequently. Love you guys <3

My Journey to Becoming a K-Pop Idol

As you know, I want to be a K-pop idol. And I’ve been working hard to make that dream a reality. Recently, I joined a K-pop dance cover community to gain experience performing, learn teamwork, and build some recognition. I’ve already performed a few times, though I haven’t won any competitions—yet! But I believe that with time and effort, I will. However, my journey toward becoming an idol started long before I joined this community. Ever since I discovered K-pop, I’ve been practicing choreographies. At first, I didn’t pay much attention to the details, but now that I’m serious about this dream, I focus on everything —from the precision of my moves to my expressions on stage. For vocals, I’ve been training myself. Since I don’t have a vocal coach, I practice whenever I’m home alone—turning on my TV, playing songs, and singing along. I think my voice is okay —not the best, but definitely not the worst! I’ve also tried auditioning , though I haven’t been accepted anywhere yet. But ...

My Hobbies

I’ve already mentioned that my hobbies are dancing , singing , and crocheting , but I actually have a few more… though I don’t really do them anymore. Let’s start with dancing . When I was in elementary school, my mom encouraged me to join the Modern Dance (MD) club . So I did—and from there, I fell in love with dancing ! 💃✨ But now, I don’t really do MD anymore. Instead, I focus more on K-pop dances . For me, MD became a bit too easy, so I decided to try learning K-pop choreographies. They turned out to be A LOT HARDER , and that challenge made me love them even more! I’ve thought about going back to MD, but I don’t think it’ll happen anytime soon. Next, we have singing . Honestly, I don’t really remember how I got into it… But I think it started not long after I fell in love with dancing. Now, let’s talk about my singing skills … well, they’re questionable . 😂 I mean, they’re not bad , but they’re not amazing either. In 7th grade , I joined the choir club , and that’s where I disc...

My K-pop Journey

Image
In my last post, I talked about how much I love K- pop , but I didn’t really dive deep into it. So today, I want to tell you all about it! The first time I ever heard about K-pop was when BTS released their song Dynamite . It was everywhere —everyone was talking about it! 🎶✨ I put the song on repeat so many times that my parents got bored of it. But after a while, I kind of forgot about it… A few years later… A new girl group debuted— NewJeans ! I became obsessed with their music. Their songs were so catchy; I just couldn’t stop listening! I loved them so much that I even started collecting their photocards . I even tried convincing my friend to become a fan too! But, of course, after listening to their songs every single day, I eventually started looking for something new. At first, I couldn’t find anything that had the same fresh and unique vibe as NewJeans. And that’s when I discovered BoyNextDoor . Their concept felt really different from other boy groups. Their music was chil...

About Me

Hi there! I’m Alden, the author of this humble blog. Alden’s Journal is my personal blog, where I’ll share my daily life, K-pop, crochet, school experiences, and more. I’ll be writing my posts in English—even though most of my readers will probably be my Indonesian friends. But I don’t mind! Writing in English makes it easier for people from different countries to understand my posts. Now, let’s talk about me! My name is Alden , and I was born on May 22, 2010 , which means I’m 14 years old (at the time of writing this). Some of my favorite hobbies are dancing, singing, and crocheting! I’m also the first-born in my family. Hmm, what else… Oh yeah! I want to be a K-pop idol! 🎤✨ I’m working hard to make my dream come true. My goal is to become the first Indonesian male to debut under one of the top three K-pop labels (SM, JYP, or YG). At the time of writing this, Carmen from Hearts2Hearts just became the first Indonesian female idol to debut under SM Entertainment. I plan to becom...
